Terms and Conditions

1. The Service

Mocknira is a digital wardrobe. With the Service you can:

• Photograph your clothes and have each item cut out and tagged automatically (for example by category and colour)
• Get daily outfit suggestions based on your wardrobe, your style and the time of year
• Use "Before you buy" to see how an item you are thinking of buying would work with the clothes you already own
• Track laundry, look back at past outfits and see insights about how you use your wardrobe

Features differ between the Free and Pro plans, as described in sections 7 and 8.

2. Who can use Mocknira

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you give us is true and up to date.

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep access to that email address secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in to your account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at [email protected] straight away.

4. Your photos and content

You own the photos you upload and the information you add about your items ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of it.

To run the Service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process and display Your Content. We use this licence only to provide and improve the Service for you: for example to cut out items, tag them, build outfits and show them back to you. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not show it to other users. This licence ends when you delete your account, except for copies that remain in backups for a short time (see section 15).

When you upload content, you confirm that:

• You took the photo, or you have the right to use it
• If a photo shows another person, they have agreed to it being uploaded
• It does not break any law or anyone else's rights

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload nudity, sexual content, or any image of a person under 18
• Upload content that is illegal, hateful, violent, or that harasses anyone
• Upload photos of other people without their permission
• Try to access other users' accounts or data, or our systems, without permission
• Copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service, or use bots or scripts to access it
• Overload the Service on purpose, or get around usage limits or payments
• Use the Service for anything unlawful

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules (see section 15).

6. Automatic tags and suggestions

Mocknira uses automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to cut out items, tag them and suggest outfits. These tools can make mistakes. An item may be given the wrong category or colour, and a suggestion may not suit you, the occasion or the weather on the day. You can correct tags in the app.

Outfit suggestions and "Before you buy" results are general style ideas, not professional advice. Decisions about what to wear and what to buy are yours. We are not responsible for any purchase you make, or for the price, quality, fit or returns of items bought from any shop.

7. Free plan

The Free plan costs nothing and does not need a payment method. It includes the core Service with limits on some features (for example outfit swaps and "Before you buy" checks). The current limits are shown in the app. We may change the features or limits of the Free plan in the future.

8. Pro subscription

Pro is a paid subscription that removes or raises the limits of the Free plan and unlocks extra features. What Pro includes is shown on the subscription screen in the app before you buy.

• Payment: Pro is sold through Google Play (and, when available, the Apple App Store). The store takes the payment, and its own terms apply to it. The price is shown in the app and by the store before you confirm.
• Renewal: Pro is billed monthly and renews automatically at the end of each month, until you cancel.
• Free trial: A new account gets Pro free for a set number of days (15 at the moment), starting when you sign up. You do not give any payment details for it, and it never turns into a paid subscription by itself: when it ends, you move to the Free plan and keep all your items. There is one trial per email address, even if you delete your account and sign up again. If you buy Pro during the trial, your paid month starts that day and the rest of the trial ends. We may change the length of the trial, or stop offering it, for accounts created after the change.
• Cancelling: You can cancel at any time in your store's subscription settings (in Google Play: Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions). You keep Pro until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
• Deleting your account does not cancel Pro. The store bills you, not us, so cancel in the store first.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policy. We do not give refunds for partly used months, except where the law requires it.
• Price changes: If we change the price of Pro, we will tell you in advance, and the store will ask for your agreement where its rules require. A new price applies from your next renewal.

9. Fair use

To keep the Service running well for everyone, all plans, including Pro, have fair use limits, such as a monthly cap on photo uploads. "Unlimited" features are for normal personal use. If an account uses the Service far beyond normal personal use, we may slow it down or contact you about it.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, including your photos, and how we use and protect it. It is part of these Terms.

11. Our rights

The Service, including the app, website, software, design, logo and text (but not Your Content), belongs to Mocknira and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app on your own devices for your personal use, in line with these Terms.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Third-party services

The Service relies on other companies, for example app stores for payments, cloud hosting for storage, and providers for email. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for their services, and outages on their side may affect Mocknira.

13. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, and we may pause the Service for maintenance.

We keep regular backups, but data can still be lost in rare cases. If that happens, we will try to restore it from our most recent backup.

If we ever shut the Service down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice where possible, so you can save anything you want to keep, and we will stop charging for Pro.

14. Disclaimer and limits on our liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises, stated or implied, including that the Service will meet your needs, or that tags or suggestions will be accurate.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost data, or money spent on clothes, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for all claims about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.

15. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile, General, Delete account. When you do, we delete your account details and your wardrobe photos. Some copies may stay in our backups for up to 30 days before they are removed. Remember to cancel Pro in your app store first (see section 8).

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts other users or the Service at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close your account without you breaking these Terms, we will stop charging you.

Sections 4 (for backup copies), 6, 11, 14, 16 and 18 continue to apply after your account ends.

16. Your responsibility

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or because you broke these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, to the extent the law allows.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. When we make an important change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a problem, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to solve it. If we cannot, disputes will be handled by the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. If you live outside India, you keep any right you have to bring a claim in your own country under local consumer law.

19. General

• These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
• If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest still applies.
• If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
• You may not transfer these Terms to someone else. We may transfer them if Mocknira is sold or restructured, and your rights under them stay the same.
